Mahdi (CLO / Legal Counsel) -
Mahdi is a highly accomplished legal professional with a wealth of
experience in the online gambling industry. As a partner at one of
Canada's premier law firms, he brings a deep understanding of
licensing, compliance, M&A, and corporate law to the team. He plays a
critical role in leading all licensing and compliance efforts for
Duel, ensuring that the company stays in full compliance with all
applicable laws and regulations.
Taka (CTO / Lead Developer) -
Taka is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience
in blockchain technology. With a proven track record of success dating
back to 2018, he has a wealth of expertise in building web3 gambling
platforms, social media platforms, NFT marketplaces, DeFi lending
platforms, token bridges, and more. As a key member of the Duel team,
Taka brings a deep understanding of the technical aspects of our
business, and his contributions will be instrumental in driving the
success of our company.
Chris (Head of BD) - Chris is an
experienced sales professional with over five years of experience in
the tech industry. His tenure at AWS has been particularly noteworthy,
where he has demonstrated a strong business acumen and an impressive
track record of consistently exceeding revenue goals. As the Head of
Business Development at Duel, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge,
skills and experience to the team and his leadership in sales will be
instrumental in driving the growth of the company.
Vlad (Creative Director) - Vlad
is an award-winning designer with over a decade of experience working
with startups and development teams across a variety of industries. He
is passionate about finding innovative solutions to complex problems
and is skilled in creating intuitive and visually appealing product
experiences. As a key member of the Duel team, Vlad's expertise in
design will be instrumental in creating exceptional user experiences
for our customers.
Alex (Community Lead) - Alex is
our dedicated community manager, responsible for overseeing the
day-to-day management of our online community on Duel. With over 8
years of experience in customer service, including 4 years in the
banking industry, Alex has the skills, knowledge and experience to
excel in this role. He is responsible for managing other moderators,
personally attending to tickets, and answering questions, he does it
all. His tenacity, empathy and patience make him an exceptional
community manager that can provide excellent customer service to our
community.
Michael (PR) - Michael manages
our public relations and content strategy, leading the PR and blog
efforts for Duel. With over 2 years of experience in the Web3 space,
Michael has a keen understanding of market and user sentiment. This
allows him to ensure that all of our public-facing communications are
both articulate and aligned with the needs and expectations of our
target customer demographic.
Kyle (Content) - Kyle is a
multidisciplinary designer/creative with over four years of experience
in digital advertising. He began his career in an agency environment
working on award-winning campaigns for global clients such as Nissan
and AT&T. He then ventured into a start-up where he gained valuable
experience advertising, branding, and creating content for web3
companies (including Algorand Foundation, Bitcoin.com, and STEP’N).
Kyle has a knack for detail and the ability to create eye catching
content. Paired with his campaign experience, he’ll be impactful in
helping grow our brand awareness and keeping our community excited and
engaged.
